Mona Laghaie is a licensed School Psychologist with an Independent Practice Endorsement and more than twenty years of experience supporting children and families in public school settings. Throughout her career, she has conducted comprehensive evaluations for students with suspected disabilities, developing a deep and practical understanding of psychoeducational assessment and child development.
At IMHA, Mona specializes in evaluating and diagnosing neurodevelopmental and related disorders, including Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Developmental Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities (such as Dyslexia), Developmental Delays, and emotional or behavioral challenges. She is trained in the administration of the ADOS‑2, allowing for a more thorough and nuanced assessment of Autism.
In addition to diagnostic work, Mona serves as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for families seeking guidance in navigating the special education process within their schools. Her practice is grounded in clarity, compassion, and a commitment to helping children access the support they need to thrive.
